What's "bust" mean exactly?
Bust refers to from about the waist or shoulders up. So a bust picture would be whatever character you choose, drawn from the waist up in a picture.
What is DPI?
DPI means Dots Per Inch (aka Pixels Per Inch). The higher the DPI, the greater the quality of the image. Print quailty usually ranges from 300dpi and higher. Web images are usually 72dpi. How this applies to these commissions is, the lower dpi commissions (72dpi) are not print quality. The 300dpi commissions are. These could be made into prints by the commissioner or I could utilize deviantART's prints to make prints of the commission. This means also however, that anyone could also buy prints of the commission.
Another option includes printing the commissioned piece on merchandise like what I've already got up on CafePress.com.
72dpi Bust Commissions
All will be done digitally at 72dpi, no smaller than 1000x1000px, no larger than 3000x3000px. These will be drawn and colored using the digital program Photoshop CS2.

• 1 hour (sketch)
• 2-3 hours (lineart)
• 4+ hours (color)

((Similar to the 72dpi Busts, only done in high resolution rather than low.))

Additional Characters & Backgrounds
I will do more than one character in a single image, up to 3 characters. I will still gauge how long this takes, and will charge accordingly. For each additional character it will take the same amount of time as for one character. So if you had two characters done as a 72dpi lineart image, it would take approximately 3 hours and therefore be $36 (+ addtional costs mentioned below).
Backgrounds tend to take several hours on their own if detailed, which is why I request only simple backgrounds, unless you want to pay for 5 hours' work or more on top of the already set price since backgrounds are really a piece on their own.
Payment Methods:
I will be accepting payment via Paypal, money orders, or checks. After the sketch has been completed and you look over it and okay it, I expect half the estimated amount to be payed at that time and the rest after the piece is completed. For payments done in money order or check, I expect the full amount to be payed after the piece is complete (at which time I will know how long and how much money will be owed). I will not show the completed piece until full payment has been made.
Or, you could pay upfront the estimated amount. if it ends up being more or less I could always send the difference back to you. I will expect the rest of payment (in the case it is more than expected) first before I give you the full finished piece.

To inquire about taking a slot, please note me via deviantart or e-mail me. Any inquiries made through comment or otherwise will be ignored. Included with your inquiry, please title the note "Commission" so that I don't dismiss it as something else. This is important! Also please include as much information about what you'd like illustrated as possible. You can save characters' profiles and such (their back stories etc). Appearance descriptions are all that's really needed. We can get down to expressions and such when we start. If you have any reference images that would help immensely.

If you know what you would like exactly, have references or a clear description of what you'd like please contact me as soon as possible. But please keep in mind that even if you do respond quickly, I will only work on so many commissions at once. It still may be some time before I get to yours. I will be sure to contact you when I have started on your commission however.
I will take whoever wishes to be added to the waiting list since there is no limit on how many people can be on it. Also, for those added to the waiting list, please do not send payments until you have been moved up to the primary slot list. If for some reason you must pay sooner, please let me know by note.
