If you have any more questions that may not be answered already here, please feel free to e-mail me.
Do you draw art for free?
No. That's final.
What about art trades?
Only with close friends.
Will you join my art contest?
Most likely I will not. I don't have the time.
Do you take commissions?
Yes, please read the information provided here.
Why aren't you taking real media (pencil, paper, etc) commissions?
I have stopped because I'm finding it difficult to mail them off mostly. It's a problem I'm working on remedying.
What do you use to create your work (and where can it be found)?
pencils: 0.5mm bic mechanical pencils (usuall 2H lead).
ink: Faber Castell, SAKURA Micron, Sharpie.
colors: Crayola Colored Pencil, Prismacolor Colored Pencil
paper:: Heavy cardstock with smooth finish. Sometimes printer paper.
cg input: 6x8" Wacom Graphire
cg programs:
Photoshop CS2,
ArtRage 2.0,
Open Canvas 1.1
The pencils, inking pens, colored pencils, and paper can mostly be found at art stores. If not there, office supply stores sometimes carry them. Wacom tablets can be purchased at WACOM.com. Photoshop can be purchased from Adobe. ArtRage is available for purchase on ambientdesign.com. Open Canvas 1.1 is a freeware program that is hard to find these days, but once I find a download I'll link to it here. Other Open Canvas programs can be found on PortalGraphics.net.
How do you create those skins/objects for the Tomb Raider Level Editor, and could you teach me how?
Please refer to the tutorials on TRsearch.org. Please do not expect me to guide you in every single step to create skins or objects. It took me a good few years to become as good at it as I am and I learned through studying on my own what materials were available to me.
I expect everyone else to do the same.
How did you create your website layout and what programs did you use?
This particular layout was a free template I found on freewebsitetemplates.com and can be found here. Normally I create my layouts entirely on my own, but this time I needed something fast. All the graphics used were created with Photoshop CS2 using some of my exsisting artwork and also some graphics from cafepress.com for the store banner. I also used Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 for editing the templates as well as writing all the different pages for the site. I also have a pretty basic yet good understanding of HTML coding. I used to write everything out myself in NotePad back in the day, so it's still pretty well engrained into my brain. x3
May I use one of your characters and/or artwork for my RPG, Story, whatever?
No. I do not allow any use of my work for RPG or other purposes. If you happen to see anyone suscpiciously using my work for their RPG, website, or anything like that please let me know. I would appreciate it very much.
May I color some of your lineart?
If it is fanart, you may, but if not, I would rather you asked me first. Most likely I wont allow coloring of my original lineart. So it'd have to be a very special exception. If you do color anything of mine, please let me know if and where you've posted it online so I may take a look. Also be sure to credit me for the lineart when you do. Otherwise it could be considered art theft.
May I trace/draw your artwork? I promise to give credit!
Please do not do this. If you do, DON'T post it anywhere online or claim it as your own. Only that you traced or drew it exactly as the original. I do not condone this so if you see this anywhere online please let me know. I understand using these methods when you're first learning to draw, but even so I do not wish for it to happen. For your own private practice is fine but please do not post it publicly anywhere.
I found your artwork on Photobucket, why are you angry I'm using it?
Photobucket may allow the posting of millions of copyrighted material without needing permission from the copyright holders. This does not mean that it may be used or claimed by anyone else other than the copyright holders. Just like you wouldn't claim Naruto as your own, you shouldn't claim my or anyone elses' work for your own. I'm in the process of contacting Photobucket about removing tons of my work from various user galleries there. So in other words, I don't condone the use of my work even if it's being hosted on Photobucket regardless the reason.
Why are you so obsessed with Kingdom Hearts?
I've loved the games since they came out. It's been the one series that I've really really loved over the years. Nothing else has quite grabbed me the same way. Not to mention I love Tetsuya Nomura's work. He's one of my favourite artists. I aspire to be as great as he, one day.
Why do you draw homosexual artwork?
Because it's appealing to the eye for me. I see a great beauty in it that I don't as often see in heterosexual artwork. Not to say it isn't there in hetero work... I just see more of an appeal in homo art.
Do you draw fanart just to be popular?
No. I draw fanart because I enjoy it. I don't think anyone who doesn't draw it for that reason should be drawing fanart at all. Some people do it just to be popular, but I do not.
Are you attending any conventions in the future?
Yes! I went to YaoiCon 2007 and intend on attending it every year now. I may also be going to SakuraCon in 2008.
Do you cosplay?
I want to, but currently I don't.
